YA series increased safety three-phase induction electric motors are new products designed and produced by China with fine sealing and explosion protection properties. YA series electric motors are widely used in secondary explosion protection places, such as petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fiber, light textile industry and medicine making. The explosionproof property of this series electric motors accords with GB3836.1-83 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmosphere General Requirements and GB3836.3-83 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmosphere Increased Safety Electrical Apparatus "e".

Derived from YA series electric motors are YA-X series increased safety electric motors special for planet gear decelerators (X1-X11); YA-W series increased safety outdoor electric motors and YA-F series increased safety anti-corrosive electric motors. The power grade and mounting dimentions of this series electric motors are the same as that of Y series electric motors, reaching the IEC standards.

Cooling form of YA series electric motors: IC0141.
